ife isn't always what we want it to be. It doesn't always go the way we hope or wish—especially when we're kids. When we're young, we don't get a say in how we're raised, the things we learned, what we grow up believing and how our brains are developed.
But when we grow up, all of that is 100% up to us.
And that's what I do. I'm a lifelong learner, transforming my life into what I want it to be—and I help others learn to do the same.
But what's the real stuff? You can look at the pictures above, some from a year ago, others many more than that. What do the pictures say? I'll tell you....nothing. Not a thing.
Because you can't know someone just by an image frozen in time (say hello to social media, but that's a topic for another day).
The first thing you should know about me is that I fully believe we don't know enough about ourselves, and that self-awareness is the key to so much of what happiness is and where we find it...
And I know exactly who I am, though I'm still discovering more about myself each day.
I am insatiable in my thirst for knowledge and understanding of myself and human behavior.
I love deep conversations, even with just myself, that probably stray on the "overthinking" side enough to overthink myself into worry, into anxiety but I'd rather over think than never think.
I live with intention, and don't just let life go by without rhyme or reason.
I don't share enough about myself. And other times, I share too much.
I love taking pictures of what goes unnoticed the most.
Food is my favorite, all types, preferably the kinds I've never tried before from a country I wish to visit one day.
My family has more of my heart than nearly anything else, though they might not know it. And I wish they did.
Movies, TV shows, books...stories...are my love.
I'd rather live for myself than for anyone else, ever. Always. This life is mine.
If you can't tell, I love the dramatics...I'm a writer, after all.
I have more love to give than I know what to do with, and wish I could give myself more of it.
And I love easily, but don't fall in love easily.
My childhood was rougher than I would have liked, but the truth is that I wouldn't change it even if I could, because while I walked away with traumas, I also walked away with some of my favorites parts about myself:
My drive and independence. My inability to put up with any shit. My immense capability to do whatever I want, however I want, because I always needed to figure it out myself.
I'm not perfect, at all, but I don't believe such a thing exists. But I try, and I learn, and I try some more, and at 26-years-old, I have so much of what I've learned to share that I don't even know what to do with it all.
And that's largely why I'm here (why you're here, even). To share what I've learned in the hopes that I help open eyes to the fact that this life is ours, it's yours.

I also believe that "ordinary" is 100% subjective...and your ordinary life can change, shift, alter, and transform to a new "ordinary," one high above the one you've known thus far.
And I'm here to show you how.
