What up, October is HERE! The best month, obviously. Here are my writing goals for this month:
September was an interesting month. I had tons to do for my WIP and lots of time-consuming goals. Once again, time went by too fast but that’s okay! October is the best month (duh) and I’m SO HAPPY it’s here!
I’m all ready to tack these October goals and kick some ass!
Firstly, if you didn’t see last month’s goal, check them out. I’ll touch on them here and then go over some new ones I have for October.
I AM SO READY FOR THIS MONTH.
Here’s a brief rundown of last month’s writing goals:
(✓) Goal #1 – Finish the rough outline
(✓) Goal #2 – Type up and finalize the outline
(✓) Goal #3 – Chart the entire story’s ebb and flow of emotions
(✓) Goal #4 – Start writing by October 1st.
Did I accomplish all of them?
HELL YES I SURE DID! I actually ended up writing a few days BEFORE October first because I’m amazing and kicked my outline’s BUTT.
But anywho, another month means another set of goals. So here are October’s writing goals:
Goal #1 – Write 8k words a week
I think this is beyond reasonable for me. Based on the current rate I’ve been writing, I do this I can hit this each week unless I’m super busy with work or life. I’m also not a huge workout goal person, in general. This will serve more as a goal just so I know I’m getting work done and progressing. So if I’m only hitting 3k words a week, I know I’ll need to step up my game.
So far, my word count is at 8,338 and I’m about halfway through chapter 2.
That’s all I have! Only one goal but at this point in the game, it’s mostly about getting the story written. So from here on out it’ll mostly just be goals related to the actual writing of the book.
BECAUSE I CAN FINALLY WRITE IT AND OMG I’M SO PUMPED!
